Ok I have everything hooked up and I think my problem is with my laptop.
I keep getting this error. Failed java io exception port currently owned by unknown widows application.
Does anyone have any ideas that could help me out or point me in the right direction.
Thanks

I had the same problem when installing my link which was caused by Palm HotSync desktop manager owning the port. You just need to check for similar software and then reconfigure it or remove it.

If you are using a usb connection then just switch to a different usb port. If a single serial port then reconfigure.

Restarting your computer also sometimes fixes the problem. If you have any other problems I would suggest going to the DSMLink forum if you have a legal copy. They are a bunch of good guys on the forum that will help you out.
