installed dsmlink and now check engine light

So i installed dsmlink yesterday. Today when i drove it for the second time, the check engine light came on and stayed on. The code is reading 0443 (evaporative purge control valve malfunction). Why would dsmlink cause this to all of the sudden appear? what do i do about it?

dsmlink says my cataylist and egr system is incomplete. oxygen sensor and sensor heater are complete.

Ive never had this problem until i just installed dsmlink. Why would dsmlink cause this to happen?

you can disable your check engine lights in the DTC's if you want...

i just had the same problem on mine last week. it's the vent valve on top of your charcoal canister. i replaced mine and it cleared the problem. only bad part is it's a "dealership only" part.
