so i installed a boost controller today and when i boost it sits on around 11 psi for about three seconds and than creeps up to 20..... dont like that what can cause this?

It's a cheap bleeder style valve. It will creep. To fix it buy a better quality one I suppose.

Mine did the same thing. I found a TurboXS one on the classifieds here for $20 and it works great.

I know it may sound totally off the wall, but, have your checked for quality on your vac lines?
If you have poor, cracked, aged, or loose lines connected you will suffer performance. This is why you read about ppl asking if you have boost leak tested your car so much.
Have you? Tested?
As for that type of mbc, you may want to inspect it inside and make sure spring etc is actually in there. Just curious since a mbc is not rocket science, pretty simple contraption, so if you are suffering creep after inspection of all else, leaks etc, it sounds like something is going on inside it. just my .02c

im running meggan racing full 3 in turbo back exhaust no cat... i think thats my problem. but yes spring is in their, no boost/vacuum leak. i removed the mbc and im still creepin.

When I went with a megan 3 in dp I got boost creep just like that but sits at 10psi and spikes to 23 I just tuned for it LOL. Thats an E3 with E3 o2 housing and megan dp catless to thermal catback. Hallman pro mbc. Turbo is ported too.

I would say if you did not have creep before, and you installed a boost controller, a cheap one at that, then it is probably the issue.

Take the boost controller out of the equation, and wait until you get a decent quality boost controller.
