I just finished installing my Hallman Pro Boost Controller. I took it out for a test right afterward. With it sitting at the lowest setting, there's no problem. However, when I turn it up four revolutions, my boost spikes to 18psi and then tapers back down to 9psi. I'm not sure what's going on or how to fix it. Any help would be awesome.

Update your profile....

Because, as far as we know you installed a boost controller on stock everything and just cranked it up. :ohdamn:

CXRacing front mount and piping, Greddy knockoff BOV, Injen intake, full 3" turboback.

I'm not trying to turn it up on my t25, I'm trying to find a happy medium to sit at 14psi again , like it did before I installed the controller.

At the lowest setting the boost should be exactly where it was before you installed it.. Four whole revolutions is a lot! Half turns at a time.

At the lowest setting, it sits at wastegate pressure which is 9-10. I had no idea four was a lot, that could be the issue alone. I just saw that it turned a lot and was trying to start small. : 3 Oops. I didn't want to push anymore than 14 on my T25, which I was before the install.

You should be aware of the number of turns because you can do some real damage if you over boost. Maybe not destroy your motor but I hope you have upgraded mods with some sort of fuel system. Electric boost controller are best and some of the new ones like HKS or greedy profec a are amazing. The one thing you should get is a dsm link best thing ever and can adjust your boost from that. I have a modded 92 talon with close to 400 wheel hp and with the DSMlink it drives like stock. Upgrade to better boost clamps and a data logger so you can monitor what your car is doing under the raised boost. Good luck and once you go looking for hp it can be the best drug out there. Turbo awd forever.
