I did something stupid. I bolted the trans up to a freshly rebuilt motor w/o installing the pilot bushing. I hadn't gone too far regarding getting it back together (drive shaft, t-case and axles are back on the car), so it wouldn't set me back too long breaking it back down again...but you guys think there's a way I could get the bushing onto the torque converter without dropping the trans completely out?
Getting the trans lined back up and installed right is going to be a bear if I have to take it all the way out....
Stupid mistake but I need some advice. What do you guys think? Am I stuck dropping the trans? Or you think I could split it from the motor and wedge it in there....
