Innovate LC-1 not connecting

My LC-l will not connect to my computer. Everything is hooked up right but it will not connect. Any ideas why?

Yeah everything works its always worked. I just wanted to hook it up to my computer but it will not connect.

Do you have the terminator plug in the SERIAL IN port?
What program are you trying to connect with?

Yes. And the other cable into the out port. I am trying to use logworks 3.08 i think it is.

Could it be because i do not have the disk that comes with the wideband kit itself? I just went to the website and downloaded logworks.
