I was finally trying to install my wideband the other night and I came to find out that I need some kinf of wire to connect to the stero port and connect to a laptop so I can program this. Well I dont have it I guess it didnt come with the package since I got it used. Does anyone know if there is a way around this, I wired it up into the EGR wire on the ecu (Since im a 1g). Also what would be the steps I would have to take if I want to connect it in my front o2 bung for the time being until I get my 2nd o2 bung welded onto the downpipe.

PS. If you need any other additional info just let me know and I will try and help as much as possible.

Wait, your LC-1 should have COME WITH a stereo to DB-9 serial port connector. Get one off of e-bay or somewhere else if you can. If not, then go to innovate's website and get in touch with them I'm sure they can get one for you and it should cost too much.

What did you wire into the EGR?

Don't connect it till you get the correct wire as you wont be able to do crap with it. As for that, though, it should just screw right in no problem.

Well I saw that innovate sell the connection I need for only $12 but I was just seeing if there wa a way around it so I can start tuning. Also I know the o2 sensor will screw right into the bung but will it give me any bad affects since im taking off the stock o2 sensor.

You can use the NB simulator and hook that to the ECU's O2 input and the 5v to the EGR-T input. But you don't want it in the stock location. It won't work effectivly. To much heat. You will get error messages (sensor overheat) cause it's to close to the fire. Best thing to do is get it placed below the firewall in the gap their and the engine. Works great their. I didn't care for the NB simulator all that much. It works. Just as good as the stock sensor but I also didn't like it either. If I remember correctly it always ran a tad rich or lean I can't remember actually. So I just changed the code to use a 5v O2 input. The stock O2 input is a 5v input anyways. It made a hugh difference. With the 1000cc injectors my idle was no where near a stioch ARF with the NB. Would go from 12-16 AFR. With the WB conversion it's pretty steady at 14.2-15.0 AFR at idle.

Also Innovate has the pin out to build your own stereo to DB-9 serial connector.
