The stock fuel rail is actually bigger than the majority of aftermarket rails you can buy. As far as injectors, like everybody has stated go with 1050's at least.

I didn't know that about the fuel raid now it makes no sense to spend all that money on one yet. Thanks I'm looking at some 1250's right now maybe even some 1600 to prepare for the future.

I'm assuming based on your answer those 1600's too big ?

No. I was thinking that if you were planning on running E85, you would be out of fuel pump. What fuel pump are you running, since it's not in your profile?

If I so I was thinking if there too big maybe then can be "turned down" to work ?

Any injector will work with ECMLink, although a few of the larger ones can be a bit finicky. You may want to do some reading over on the ECMTuning wiki and forums about how global fuel and injector deadtime works, before you purchase your injectors.

You may also want to check out this thread. There is a LOT of useful information on injectors in there, specifically on larger injectors and how they relate to ECMLink.

Sounds good, I'll check out the ecmwiki also I'm running a rewired Walbro 255.

The ECMWiki is extremely useful. I personally ran a HX35 on a 255 in tank with stock lines and FPR on 880 injectors without any issues. I also ran some meth to help out but injector duty cycle was around 70% on 30psi.

Ill definitely get on there tonight when I'm at work. I have plenty of time to read then. I got 2 questions for you. What were the numbers you were putting down with that boost level and setup and also is your tranny stock ?

I was seeing 73% IDCs using 1000cc injectors on Q16 at 27psi on my 6-blade HX40. The car was seeing around 50 lbs/min airflow at 7300 rpm. I would really go bigger than 1000cc injectors. I plan on getting a set of high-z 2150's so I can run as much gas or e85 through them as I need.

I really like the Holset turbos, I consistently pick up 28-29 mph on the back-half of the track.

I agree with Calan, the 30psi I was running came in smooth and had a good power curve to it. Plus I knew better than to try and slam gears at a high RPM on that street disc.

Thanks, Im learning so much from you guys...:thumb:

Thanks for the info, I'm now moving towards the 1600cc just to be safe or maybe bigger. I'll make my final decision after I read up on Injectors on ecmwiki tonight.

alright as for injectors, buy 1000cc injectors, you will be good for the turbos you're talking about. You NEED to look into purchasing EcmLink v3 and if you are going hx35 go speed density. any bigger that 1000cc injectors on pump gas for daily driving starts running rough.. Personal experience from watching my friend make 720 hp on his spyder.. he switched down to 1000cc injectors to make it better for daily and it is tuned DOWN to 33psi 550 daily driving smooth horsepower and his turbo is much larger than the hx35 and hx40. you may have heard of him or the cars he and his crew has built. The ninja turtle green 4g63 s2000, and the 4g63 e30 bmw.. im lucky enough to have them right down the street to do work on my dsm, and right now were finishing up my GST awd swap. anyway.. back on topic.***** 1000cc injectors and speed density Ecmlink v3***** with the hx35-40
