Getting ready to pull the motor out of my '92 Laser RS non-turbo car.

(Head separated)

Knowing as little about injectors as I do I noticed that the 2 in the middle are blue and the outers are brown/tan colored.

Now I'm a big Jeep nut and know that injectors on Jeeps are ID'd by color.

Are DSM's the same and if so what's the color difference mean on mine?

They should be all the same.
I don't mess with the non-turbo cars very often, but the blue ones are stock in the turbo car, and I guess the brown ones are stock in the non turbo. Try to find two more brown ones.
The colors mean different flow rates.

Yeah, if you have two non-turbo and two turbo, your fuel flow is gonna get all sorts of funky. You should be able to get some stock non-turbo ones for cheap. Just check the classifieds here or even ebay if you wanna trust the seller LOL.

Thanks for the info.

I'm doing a complete rebuild and turboing the motor when done so new injectors are in my future. Just was wondering..

for now I have a good non-turbo motor from my parts car that's going in mine so I can at least drive it for now..

read the numbers on the injectors if they match there the same. my 1g turbo had 2 blue tops n 2 black tops. most likly u will find their the same which for a n/t i beleive the last digits will b 240 which is the injector size.

pink - 240cc - (1g 2.0Ln/t)
tan - 390cc - (1g turbo auto)
blue - 450cc - (1g turbo m/t)
black - 450cc - (2g turbo)
yellow - 510cc - (evo 1-3)
pink - 560cc - (evo 7-9)

No it's the injectors. I thought it was the clips at first but nope it's the injectors..
