injector questions

well i haven't started my car in about 4 months, 1990 gsx. got fuel but i think i am getting too much of it. my ecu was checked by a fellow dsmer around my area with the same car and it performed well. since injectors are so expensive i was wondering if the injectors from a non- turbo car will work.

well everytime i try starting up the car it will just rotate and it will just try to start but it wont. anyways cylinders always get flooded after about 2 or 3 tries starting the car up. thats is why i got to the conclusion of the faulty injectors.

i am getting smoke under the car and then it gets flooded. and one more thing would the fuel pressure regulator solenoid would be a part of my problem since i just found out that it is i think faulty becuase i think somebody put like some kind of rubber over it seal it. well thanks in advance for thsoe kind hearted to answer my stupid questions :thumbdown :thumbdown

First off.. Check this out, I'm selling the stock 450 injectors/fuelrail/line/regulator.. from my 1990 eclipse gsx. It is annodized red&metallic silver, Great condition. $65 shipped for everything.

Second off. When I first got my car I was having a similar problem(car flooding with gas) It turned out to be the ecu but it was also the coolant temp sensor on the thermostat neck. If you really need new injectors I can work with you on the price.

well my ecu was checked with a good running car and it performed well. i will check that coolant sensor. well i will talk to you about those items since i dont have money right now, i will though in about a week. well thanx for repying.

what was wrong with your ecu, did u get a new one. i will do some chek ups on my injectors to confirm that they are really the problem. anyways i was wondering if you still have that whole fuel pump assembly unit.
