I'm trying to troubleshoot a fuel cut like issue I've been having. I swapped setups between my two cars the only thing I haven't swapped was the injectors because I was under the assumption that they are the same injectors sold by a different company.

Both of my chips from Keydiver also state 264us deadtime in they're spec sheets so this more or less confirmed that for me.

I have been looking into switching to ds-map and came across the deadtimes they have listed for the two brands and they are way off from each other DS-Map Injector Deadtimes Database 210 for FIC vs. 300 for PTE and that really got me thinking could this be my problem?

Are they the same injectors? Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

I don't believe PTE and FIC's are the same injectors. So it makes sence that their deadtimes are different. If you go out and look at both sets of injectors you should see they're very physically different.

The latest deadtime I have seen on the PTE 680s is 210 (taken from the link forums). Just had a custom chip burned for me 2 weeks ago and had to go looking for the info on them, all the 3 year old info showed 300, but most recent showed 210 works best. Hope that helps.

there ya go jeff this might be your problem! Told you its your fuel map...its got a nasty hole in it....Just tune the nos timer and you will run 9's LOL sorry hate to miss an oppurtunity to use a F&F quote!

I had both sets out yesterday and the factory part #'s on the injector's themselves are the same other than FIC's etching and PTE's sticker. The only other visual difference is the tips on them.

I know FIC machines their's I am unsure about PTE. Is this just a universal casing Delphi uses for them? I doubt it. How would Delphi themselve's identify them before selling to these guys?
