Hey boys, just found a tricked out 97 Eagle Talon TSI for super cheap. Its missing a few parts so not running right now. Do you guys know how I can get it across the border considering its modified (Import says something about "original engine configuration") and the technicality it was made by Eagle (Idk if its considered USDM) and what paperwork I'd need? Thanks fellas.

Shouldnt be too big a deal, the laws are very simular, canada is just more leinient on jdm cars, but you ahouodnt have an issue bringing back a talon. Just warch for rust it's a salty land up here. You shouod just need a bill of sale i havnt bought a car in canada but i brought all my US cars to canada and have been here for 3 years no issues, now I'm movin back down. They won't know if it's modified and they shouodnt have to look at the engine, it's just a car sale. It's not like a rhd car from japan (skyline, early evo)

Sweet, right now it needs a MAF, I could probably slap one on and drive it over but I'd prefer to bring it over on a trailer and put an upgraded one on at home in my shop. Will they let me bring over one that isn't running?
