:confused:I have six trouble codes. P0135, P0110, P0105, P0443, P01105, P0403.

It idles great! but when i rev it only goes to 5,000 and when the rpm's drop it wants to stall, or it does. TPS is at .63v, MDP is new, new wires ( Bad resistance, found it arcing off my fuel line), NGK plugs, No boost leaks, vac seems okay, ICM checked out, cams sensor seems good. My primary resistance for the coils is 1.5. I have the EGR blocked off ( previous owner ). Doesnt matter what I do with the SAFC 2 it still acts up after a rev. I'm sure i missed somthing. I also the the upsteam wideband checks out..

Compression is 150 across the board

Thanks,

Gary

P0110 = IAT sensor.

P0135, P0443, P0403 are showing up & being caused by the egr block off plate.

.....Read up.

I know it was because of that. I just throw thoughs in there in case they add up to something else. I'm weird like that.LOL

Weak coil - spec is 0.70-0.86. Your higher resistance will decrease the max current the primary can handle thus reducing secondary voltage.

I didn't think it would throw it off that much. learn something new everyday! I'll pick some up.

Thanks

P0105 barometric pressure sensor
P0110 intake air temp sensor
P0135 upstream/primary O2 heater circuit
P0403 EGR solenoid circuit
P0443 purge solenoid circuit
P 1105 ? not on a 97.....

The 1st 2 can cause problems even the O2 heater.

I'm starting to think that i have a 1994 7 bolt motor in my 97 talon because the coil packs seem a little different. When I look up my coil packs the 94 talon coil packs looks like thats it.

The resistance on the primary 1.5 for the new coils....weird.
Did you measure across both primaries in series (2g: blue-black to blue red; 1g: yellow-green to yellow-black)?

You should have measured from black-white to each of the other 2 colors (1g or 2g).

Did you ever figure out what year engine you have? 1g's have a 4 wire CAS but no CPS. 2g's have a 3 wire CAS and 3 wire CPS.

I'm assuming its a 1997 i have the serial number, im going to call the dealer and ask.. with new coil packs its running good. I now have a winning noise coming from timing belt area. I'm not sure where to begin looking. I'm dying to get this running good. I took a four day weekend to do so.

I tighten belts and it sounds like it coming from the head!!!!!!????wtf!
