There's still a lot of time left in the auction. Before you pick if up I would definately have it checked out by a mechanic...if you're not mechanically inclinded.

Its nice and actually looks pretty sweet, but dont forget you will need to buy new tires, a door handle, and find out the problem with the turbo not spooling up. I wouldnt pay an excessive amount for the car, maybe around 4-5k depending on how nice it really is. The biggest thing for me, is that the car is on ebay. If it was me, i would have to go look at the car before bidding on it. I would go and make sure the brakes are fine, check the alignment(obviously test drive), do a compression test, look at the oil and coolant, etc. I mean, the final decision is all up to you, im just letting you know what i would do.

Or you can do what i did! I seen a car on ebay, that was in IL and i live in MI. There was no way i would bid on the car with out looking at it, and riding in it. I loved the car though, and it was one of those "oohh man...i gotta get that car" moments. I called the guy, and got more and more details. I also found out his reserve was at 7k. So then, i just waited, and waited...then finally the auction was over, and his reserve wasnt met. So i then went to IL with 6k, checked the car out, and offered him 6. He took it, and both of us were happy. So you could wait until the auction is over, and offer him what it went for if his reserve isnt met or something like that. If you dont get it...well......theres hundredes more out there! Just do what makes your gut feel good, and good luck!!!

Well he said he put a bov on it,but the bov in those pics are the stock bov. That ding in the quarter panel is pretty nasty. If you can get it real cheap It wouldnt be to bad.

I can fix that door handle, by the way is any one have any ideal, why it take so long to make the turbo spool up in first gear ?.

could be alot of things. You need to test drive it and have it fully checked out. Check for shaft play on the turbo, compression check, etc etc

Get compression test results and if they come back good, then save that car please.

The slow spool could be a : Boost leak, exhaust leak, flapper is just stuck open alittle bit...turbo could be on its way out, possibly.

He says he has had the car up to 130mph. Thats not a good thing to advertise in my opinion, shows the car was really pushed. But if you can get a good deal on it go for it, but I wouldnt pay anything over 4k IMO. Good luck with what you decide to do.
