Ok iv had this problem for awhile now and been trying to figure it out so I can start to drive my talon.

my problem is that I can hear my coils ticking even when I have my car off and the keys out of it which is cuasing a really bad power draw on my battery, was kinda thinking it might be one of three things, either I wired my 1g-2g cas harness wrong, bad engine bay harness or maybe a bad ignition control module. Just really kinda stumped on this if anyone has an idea on what it might be I'm all ears like I said want to get this figured out so I can drive my talon

either I wired my 1g-2g cas harness wrong, bad engine bay harness or maybe a bad ignition control module.

Start with double-checking your wiring. If the wiring is correct, next time you hear a coil ticking with the key off, pull out the fuse for the ignition control module (ICM). If ticking/power draw stops, means the ICM has issues.

No go on the icm had a spare so I decded to switch them still ticks, pulled the icm fuse and it still ticked pulled the enigine fuse and it stopped ticking, but when I do dsconect the icm from the harness it does stop ticking also, thinking i might of wired my cop wrong. Gonna take it apart and rewire it see if that fixes it anymore imput from other people would be greatly apriciated
