Ok my cars been acting wierd for a while now at an idle the car will have a stumble every few seconds... then when i go full throttle the car breaks up around 5500+... it also runs rich at an idle almost unbarable(sp???) to stand near at times...
I just changed to NGK plugs not sure on part number but it helped a bit on the breaking up but it still gets bad some times...

Check the plug gap. More information on your setup would be nice.

mods are in profile but right now i only have a 2.5dp, mbc, k&n. I have alot of parts to put on the car but its a matter of time and money

and dont forget the simple things like o2 sensors

+1 on the o2 sensor, i would replace the front o2 sensor as these are usually due for a change already and can help improve gas mileage as well as a new oem fuel filter.
Also for the breaking up, are your spark plug wires old or bad ? Get them checked out, i had a similar problem before, turned out to be the wires.

Your car may be running too rich at wot, which will cause stumble/misfire. I wouldn't go any higher than .028" on gap either

yes the wires are old and yes the car runs rich at wot... i never thought of the O2 sensor at all
