idles 1500-2000

hi, on my 96rs it idles on 1500 when completely stop. But the weird part is when moving and then in neutral it suddenly shoots up to 2000rpm, until coming to a complete stop, then drops to 1500. I have cleaned the isc and check for vac. leaks, and still the same. The CEL is on and did the count. 12,25,31,21,55. I know 25 has to do with isc, but I don't know 21 and 31 are? Any suggestions?

I got the exact same problem ... mine shot a TPS code.

Do 2gnt's have fiav in the throttle body? if they do check yours, as my car did similar things when mine went bad

I replace my upsteam 02 sensor on Sunday, and I ordered my icm too. It still idles high but the only code it's showing is 25 (icm?). It will be here on wed. I keep you guys posted.

Hey guys, I just installed the icm and no luck it's still up at about 2k, and when I cruise in neutral it's up to 3k until I stop and drops back to 2k. Do I have to reset this thing or something? I bought the icm from advance autoparts for about $52. Please help..... oh by the way when I'm stuck in traffic with it idling so high the temp gauge goes up and I have turn the heat on?

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys that there is a whisling noise when I'm on the accelerator.

did u replace your isc? check the throttle cable for looseness? spray some lubricant on the throttle cable? adjust the biss screw? try those, and post back here.

I did replace the icm and I'm also replacing the tps but I'm waiting for the throttle body gasket to come in tomorow.
