1G idle surge. only until car is warmed up

I just purchased my 92 eclipse gs about a month ago. I've heard different things about idle surge problems and i just wondered if anyone has encountered my problem. The only time i have this idle surge is when i first start my car, and it last's for about 5 minutes, then runs normal. I tried cleaning my throttle body but it did nothing. has anyone else had this problem? if so what did you do to fix it. Thanks.

very common. search for idle surge and you will learn that you should just replace your ISC

You might also want to look into changing your thermostat and coolant temperature sensor (very in-expensive), I've seen those items cause that type of problem until the car warms up.
