So before i rewired my fuel pump and changed my spark plugs to ngk bpr7es .028 gap i noticed my idle dropped about 350-500rpms from before? i used the stm rewire kit and had a performance shop do it for me and the plugs that were in there before were ngk bpr6es iridium ix which shouldnt have been in there in the first place.

im thinkin its the walbro 190 fuel pump since now its rewired and taking more power from the battery and caused my idle to not be as before? Maybe get a stronger battery because the one in there now is a regular duralast battery not the gold one and im planning on adding more gauges so i think it wont hold up to good?

do you have any way of looking at fuel pressure? i know the 190 isn't known to overrun, but your regulator might just be crap.

well can this also be the problem= my stock rubber intake pipe has a tear in it right before it connects to the turbo and i wrapped it up with duct tape but im sure when it gets hot im loosing air from there and shop says that can mess with my idle?

Replacing the battery would not resolve your issue, that would be the alternator you are talking about. It is the alternator that powers the electronics once the vehicle is running.

It could be something as simple as adjusting the air/fuel ratio. Maybe it is just getting a little more fuel now than before. Try increasing your idle by adjusting the BISS screw on the throtle body to allow a little more air in.

fix the leaks, then if it is still acting up i would look at fuel pressure. by the way did you put a 2g intake manifold on a 1g head? if so you will never get it to seal correctly.
