Identifying Evo3 cams

Hey guys, I bought a 2g JDM motor but I believe i recieved the EvoIII motor, has all the signs of one anyways. I put a set of HKS 264/272 cams in it and have the stock cams out. i was wondering if they are any different than stock 2g cams and if they are how would I be able to tell if they were in fact EvoIII cams? Thanks for any info.

I don't think the Evo III's were special enough to get their own cams. I may be wrong, but I'd guess them to be the same as any other 2G 7-bolt.

Thanks guys, Im just looking at the cams though and the MDxxx numbers arent cast into it like other mitsu parts, just a couple random numbers/letters. I will try to make some sense of them...

evo3 cams are the same as 1g turbo manual cams.

Please read my above post. There are different 1g turbo m/t cams. Which ones are found in the evo 3?
