First ice race season trying the talons in limited stud. Limited stud is 9 bolts ( 12mm) per 1 foot of tire. We used to race in the Chevette class. Not as much grip as I thought they would have.
Mechanical issues cut the season very short, and we need to adapt to the different grip and weight and power from what we are used to. Here is a video of some racing, yes visibility was that bad, normally its better.
Good news is we added no dents to the cars! Thats pretty common ice racing to smash something.

How's the Ice up there? We haven't been able to race at all in new york this season due to poor/weather ice conditions.

Last year wasnt much racing, and the couple days they did were poor conditions or only lapping. This year we got 4 weekends of racing in. My team only made 2 of them. Every year is different, you would think in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, we would have a long season, but nope !
