I am on break from school and plan on making an IAT guage.I was wondering if it would be best to use an open or closed GM temp sensor in the throttle body elbow? I am planning to use the sensor into a micro procesor programmed to output temp in Farenheight onto a small LCD display.

{edit}Thanks for the help. Looks like the open element sensor is the best for forced induction.

Not trying to bump an old thread, but how did you end up making out with this? Seems interesting..... Is there maybe a way to display multiple sensors with a button to scroll thru them?
