So I just got a new IAC for a friend and I was going to throw it in his car tonight but this used one didn't come with any sort of o-ring. When i pulled his old IAC off there was gasket maker inside the hole and all over his old IAC. Does anyone know if the o-ring sits inside tight against the middle shaft or if it sits tight against the outer wall of the inner portion of the IAC or does it sit inside the throttle body and the raised edge of the IAC seals against it? Thanks.
