I want to verify this before I put 2 more quarts of trans fluid in my GSX

I know everyone says 7.1 but I've heard that when you drop the valve body that you want to fill it up untill its stops making the sucking sound Is that Right?
I recommend that you stop listening to what everyone says and verify it with what's written in the FSM. That piece, "fill it up until it stops making the sucking sound", doesn't sound like it came from a service manual...

You might have a bad TQ where it's leaking past the pilot bushing, or the bushing is also bad.

Either way, it's a tranny drop to replace the bushing and front input seal.

While you got it dropped, do the axle output seals as well.

Had an F4A22-2 tranny and it was leaking pretty bad. We dropped the tranny and discovered our problem: the welds that mounts the starter ring and flex mounting broke on the front side of the TQ where it wasn't centered with the flex plate.
This caused the TQ to slightly be out of round while rotating.

The results of this cause major wear on the pilot bushing and input core of the TQ and the pilot bushing was cracked and was spinning freely in the front casting of the pump.

Luckily, it didn't damage the pump housing to where a new bushing could be placed in in as well as all the external seals. Went to a yard and found a good TQ off of a same tranny for 20 bucks.

Sealed that leak up real nice, filled it with ATF+4 and the tranny was good as new afterwards.

Good luck - DSM

Don't automatically (pun intended) assume that your level is too low, just check it LOL. Make sure you do a nice freeway cruise, as well as running the gear selector from park, to L, and then to neutral. Doing both of these things, I was always able to add a cup or so more fluid.
