I know everyone says 7.1 but I've heard that when you drop the valve body that you want to fill it up untill its stops making the sucking sound Is that Right?

I recommend that you stop listening to what everyone says and verify it with what's written in the FSM. That piece, "fill it up until it stops making the sucking sound", doesn't sound like it came from a service manual...I know everyone says 7.1 but I've heard that when you drop the valve body that you want to fill it up untill its stops making the sucking sound Is that Right?

. Make sure you do a nice freeway cruise, as well as running the gear selector from park, to L, and then to neutral. Doing both of these things, I was always able to add a cup or so more fluid.
