I would like to start by saying hi to everyone and hope to get lots of good info from this site and friends too.

I own a 96 Eagle talon ESi with the 2.0L DOHC motor and is non-turboed, with a 5 spd.

I've got a question for anyone that can help. I just bought a complete engine from a 92 Eclipse GST with the turbo, wiring, ecm, intercoolers, everything, I would like to put this in my car, but does anyone how how hard of a job it is and will it bolt right in. I noticed that the 1 gen motor sits in the car on the drivers side and mine sits in on the pass side, does this make a differance when putting the motor in (mounts?) and will it bolt up to my stock 5 spd ok. And help and info would be of great help, or links to a swap page. Thanks evryone

Hello. This is going to be one of the biggest pita things you will do to your car. Check out www.magnusmotorsports.com and www.roadraceengineering.com , there are also a few people on this site that have done this, search around the member list a little bit for people that have n/t (with turbo) under their username and pm them. I am sure that you will find what you're looking for. Good luck with your swap.
 
if i were you, id try to fin a 1g shell to put that motor into...putting that engine in your car will be a PITA...not to mention an n/t is a wee bit more reliable :D

Basically for the price your going to pay to do this swap. You can turbo yours or sell it and buy a turbo model. It's not a hard choice.
