i want to put a 91 awd turbo drive tran into my 91 non turbo body

I have a 91 non turbo talon and a beat up 91 turbo awd talon. How hard is the swap going to be and what do I have to do with the wiring harness

There's a trillion shells on sale here and especially on facebook groups (1g parts trader, dsm classifieds, etc). You'd have 80% less work if you just pick up an awd shell in your choice of color.

If your talking about making the n/t awd then forget it. Unless you got tons of money and time to blow its not going to happen. Either fix your shell or find another and swap parts to it.

The main problem is the undercarriage is different. You can't just pull parts off of the rear of the FWD and bolt up the AWD components. Lots of fabrication.

It's definatly doable, but it's not easy. Many of the parts could be cut off a junked awd, and welded in.
