I want to hear my BOV

I recently just recirculated my Greddy type R which I love the sound of. But since I recuirculted I can hardly hear it even at high boost. What are some solutions so I can hear it more? Better filter, GM MAS ??????

So how much psi were you pushing?

I cant remember but I think it was 18 psi. Side mount got heat soaked.

And to mountaineerjeff, "draw-thru MAS" is the same as stock. Even if you are using a GM MAFT setup, if it is in a draw-thru setup you are doing it wrong if you want to vent.

sorry i didnt even know people did that, I thought it was just another term. my plans are a GM MAF is there a certain car a should get one off of or is any 3" fine?
after the novelty of the vented BOV wears off, can I recirculate it with a GM MAS? with the bov before the mas

when i got my car it was completely stock besides a cone air filter and the bov was loud as hell. now i have a 1g crushed at 25psi and its really loud. maybe if you just get the supporting mods to turn the boost up a bit you will be able to hear it.

So a vented BOV is ricey on this site??? Big wing's, lot's of sticker's and the GT-R sticker on the side of a Honda are rice!!! and those car's don't have any boost to vent. I don't realy care if your riding around with slick's and chute hanging off of the back, IT'S A ECLIPSE!!!..

I have more fun riding around in my poofing, whisting, boosted, 4 banger than my 500+WHP mid 10 sec TR, the T-Type is boring to drive around, slush box, no BOV and it's a sleeper!!!!

i used to like to hear my bov but after time it just get to damn played out and annoying, i wanted it as quiet as possible i hated when some dude hears it go, Tshhhh and hes all like NOWAY i hate the attention, to me it like farting loudly in a library and getting weird looks
