E30's yes, E30 M3's? Not very common in the west.I guess that shows your on the west coast. NASA Mid-Atlantic is chock full of e30s, e36s and e46 probably almost more popular than the miatas (spec e30 fields are huge)
OH and SHH I dropped the dsm platform to build a Spec3 car.

. Lets say I went out and spent crap idk a few thousand on a proper suspension. Would the design of our chassis hinder the performance of it at all ? I read into it but they never got right down to saying yes or no. Chassis dynamics make or break a race car but I did not know if that hold true for street cars as well. There are several types of frames, ladder, unibody, space, monocoque. I know from years of fixing wrecked cars and pulling frames there are advantages and disadvantages to each type. Does that translate to the track as far as handling characteristics are concerned? I would assume so considering that the different types of frame put the structural loads in different locations along with integrating special areas called torque boxes or crumple zones. I would assume that this safety feature and different frame designs some how effects transitional load. Sorry for my ignorance but they dont teach you this stuff in school. thanks for your help in advance.
