hey guys i recently pulled my fuel filter because it was clogged and fuel was not getting to the injectors but in the process i cut the fuel line on accident i went into napa and they said they could make a new one for me from the tank to the filter so i got half of the line off but from the filter for about a foot back the line is stuck!! it bends around the frame and it wont budge!! my grand pa is saying ill have to drop the whole right side suspension to reach it and to put the new line in does anyone know how to get this beotch out?? its a 96 talon tsi i would GREATLY appreciate any help and can post pictures if needed. thanks guys

i still would have had the problem of putting the line in any tips on how to get this out/in?

Just get an aftermarket kit which enters into the engine bay at a different location to the stock hard line due to size restrictions. I still have a piece of stock fuel line down by the battery tray because I couldn't get that out of there.

thats the only problem i have about 50$ to fix this i dont get paid for 4 more weeks =[ napa can build me one for prob 50$ but i cant get the ####er in or out i was think about doing a rubber hose that is approved for the fuel pressure and have it pressure fitted to the bolts think that would work? then i could just wind it up there.

I think you need to drop that crossmember or what not to run the line anyway. Check in the manual to see how it's routed and if you are getting a new hard line, just do the procedure to install a new one and take out what needs to be dropped; wether it's suspension or the crossmember.

well my car has aftermarket wheels and i dont have the key to the rims so thats almost not an option and i dont have the manuel just the haynes book id rather do a hard line but the rubber hose would be soft and able to run anywhere should i just go with the rubber hose?

If you feel you can get the PROPER fittings for it to work and enough line for your budget, then yes that would be fine too. Make sure the line is for fuel and is oil/heat resistant.
