I need some advice before buying...

I have a chance to buy a 99 GS-T spyder 5 speed and I'm wondering if you guys would recommend it to me.
some details:

i think he wants around $8500, but ill try to go as low as possible obviously
basically stock I think except for 17" rims.
104,000 miles
the guy stores it in the winter
it looks pretty clean for the most part
new clutch

im wondering you guys think 104k is too many miles for a 99 and also what are some common problems with the 99 spyder. i know that the roof leaks on most of them...anything else i should look for?

i did a search using a zip code of your city and theres alot of good dsm's for sale better than that.. imo.

but that one still has 117k miles on it. what im basically wondering is how long is this engine going to last me? but thanks for the autotrader link, i had forgotten to look there of all places

its gonna last... i would buy a 97 or maybe a 95-96. early dsm's and save the extra money profited from it to fix the upcoming problems.... timing belts. etc....and makes it better for a project car... trust me youll be better getting a cheaper and earlyer year financialy.
