stafford,
Hi,

I have a 2" eibach drop on my GST, and I want 18" rims, but I'm afraid that its going to be to large. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do. With 18's, does the diamater of the wheel stay the same and the rim size just changes with the tire getting smaller?

Thanks

That would depend entirely on the tires you choose to mount on said rims. I think there's a tire/wheel fitment tech article on here that will inform you a bit more on how tire/wheel sizing works. It's not completely accurate on specifics with the limits of DSMs, but the general info should get you started on understanding what the measurements mean.

you can fit 19's if you want, just adjust tire size accordingly, or just call a rim shop and ask, they usually know. or even better find the calculator that shows the outer diameter of your rim/tire size, you can find it on dsmtuners, or google. that is more accurate than your post.

thats what I am talking about!! thanks for the help, i couldnt remember where i saw that last! :thumb:
