I GOT SCAMMED (Miami people help!)

So i put out a WTB ad for a 6 bolt engine. I get a response from "SikkDSM" saying...

Hey I've got a perfect running 6-bolt motor with 85k miles on it. The compression checks out at 178psi across the board. The motor runs strong and it's in top shape. The car was wrecked a few months ago. I need to get this thing outta here to fund the evo I'm building and almost done too!! Trying to get it done with out the wife bitching !!! I'm willing to let the swap go complete, complete with all accessories a/c, both manifolds, p/s etc.... including an evo 16g turbo thats in great shape everything minus the tranny, you'll also get the clutch master stage 3 attached to the flywheel also for 750 shipped. So i called the guy and we talked on the phone. Sounded real legit, he knew his stuff and said he was gonna ship out fedex. Well i paid him via Western Union (DOH the one time i don't use paypal..) he said he would get me a tracking # the next morning. I text him the next morning and no response...in fact i've texted him 8 times, and called 6 times and no response. I googled his name "Jason Castelans 11350 sw 48th st Miami Fl" and turns out he has been doing this for a while on other forums...I know chances of me getting my money back are slim. I'd rather just shut this guy down. I mean who really does this? I just don't get people like him...


Anyway any help or suggestions about what i should do now? Thanks a lot!

Call him from another phone #. saying how you saw his ad at some forum, if not leave him a message. When he calls you back tell him that you like the ad and would like to look at it in person, cause you don't require shipping you can just pick it up on the same day. When you see him break his legs.

Also you can go to the bank and try to stop the check if you have a copy.

Well to be honest there's not a whole lot you can do i had the same situation was trying to buy a car though.. i was only 16 payed western union doh! I went to the police and filed a report about it, they need information on him name/and address emails, and also some kind of contract you signed from him or some type of agreement you guys had. thats all i can help you with good luck man i feel your pain, i hope you get your money back and shut this pos down!

Mistake #2: You trusted sending money to a guy that has been registered here for only 8 days, has 0 posts, and doesn't even have classifieds access. If you only buy from trusted people, these issues probably won't happen. You can't send money to just anybody these days...
