Ok. I am gonna buy my friend's eagle talon tsi awd. It's got a 16g turbo, 550cc..thermal exhaust, a tubular pacesetter manifold( needs a copper gasket..anyone know ehre to get one specifically for that header?). Anyway, he's selling it for like 2-2500 bucks. Anyway, apparently, the power locks don't work..I dunno y though. he said it made some kinda clickity noise or sumthin all the time, so he took the fuse out? I gotta get this story straight, but does anyone know what could be wrong here? He says it's not the power lock actuators, so I dunno what it could be. Also, there is some minor rust on the inner fender of the rear wheels, and some rust in the door sills..how much would it be to have someone fix it? Also, what are some good mods for this car? could my MSD ignition setup be put to good use? I got the silver SCI box, the blaster 2 coil, and a dizzy cap for my honda/acura integra/accord etc. What else? I am hoping this venture is a good one, into the world of boost, awd, and dsm!

..can no one help me? Also, I LOVe the sound of the HKS sszv or the turboxs bov, but I have heard it's bad to not recirculate the air? I wanna be able to hear my bov, and that's still stock on this guy's car, so how can I change this? A new bov would look killer, and I want to upgrade it but I dunno if it's a good idea or not..also, what should I do about boost control? It's a year-round car, and winter is different then summer..what is everyone using? I really hope this is a good car to get, and I can tell i'd already have fun with it..what other mods should I first do? someone, point me in the right direction..I want the locks fixed, and all that good stuff...thanks..

I don't want to bust your bubble but you need to take a step back. You haven't bought the car yet and you are drilling for mods. You still need to purchase the car and then assess the situation. First, check the motor ie, compression test, last timing belt change, etc. Then the overall condition of the car. You already found rust, only way to estimate that is to take it to a body shop. After finding out that estimate, you may not want it anymore, depending on the damage. The locks, boost control and MSD are minor issues right now. Make sure you are making a sound purchase, then decide your upgrade path.
