larry that L2R is a beast,i dont think you are ready;) you will be on highway detail ONLY. i feel for the poor fool, that pulls up next to you on the interstate . they are in for a world of hurt. poor poor mustangs and vettes they wont know what hit them LOL *i love it*

I don't have an L2R in my car... but a good friend of mine does (locally)... I've ridden in and worked on that car..... from when he was a 16g owner to this.....

The turbo pulls hard, and the car doesn't even act like it's struggling to make power like the 16g did. Power hits hard and fast for the size of the turbo... and there is nothing cooler then listening to the turbo "wind down" once you turn the car off...... just a cool friggin sound.


For now, I'm sticking with my AGP T3/T4..... If I don't hit 11's on it... there will be a 2g AWD for sale in AZ :)

Nah, It'll hit 11's... even if I have to get out and push.

Almost forgot... I'll be out racing this weekend, against a certain 1g from New Mexico that has a L2R... Honestly I expect him to kick my ass in every way possible... but neither of us has a cage..... so whoever gets to 12.00 first wins.

His car went 11.7 with a Green... then he switched over to an L2R. After bolting it on he said it felt much better then the green did, then he went and got a lot of head work done...... car should be SICK..... I know he'll run solid 11's on his setup tonight at the test and tune... but he'll have to dial it back for tomarrow night.

Should be a hell of a lot of fun... anyone in the Phx AZ area should stop by. It's at speedworld raceway (www.speedworldmotorplex.com)... there will be a few AGP cars there kicking some ass....... I'm looking forward to it, I havn't raced in anythign formal since IDRC was in phx.... did alright then, considering the turbo install was finished 30 min before races started! Ran 12.76 that day...... on pump gas nonetheless.....


Kevin, Ben... I'll see you guys at the track tomarrow...... clutch should be done tonight after we're done with customer cars at the shop, we're going to finish my car up.

Holy #@%#@%#@%#@%... that's all I can say after tonight.

12.0 at 119..... against Nick.... for the last race of the night (we were the fastest 2 there).....

Wanna know the part that sucks? It was a headsup race..... I would of won if I had a better Reaction time.... I fell asleep at the light
I staged... and the car STALLED... WTF.... got it cranked over with enough time to go WOT on the stutterbox and then launch with a 1.5 sec RT... that SUCKED.... oh well, no excuses.. nicks car rocked and it was a hell of a race.

I went home with a huge smile on my face :D
 
oh just wondering, but when you buy the turbo kit, is it a direct bolt on w/ no bells and whistles?

btw, nice turbo i was thinking of a 16g but this one looks nicer = )
 
I have been waiting forever for the FP30 to come out, but I think I just found my new turbo! How tight is the t04e housing in a 1g with a Fluidyne radiator? Is it easiest to just run stainless lines to the turbo for oil/coolant?
 
LArryd what else did you order with the turbo as far a options go?? Oil feed line, any install kit, ect..
 
Larry, you've come a long way since your celi's days ( my best friend mark is a member of newcelica.org)..
Anyway, congrats on being different and trying something new.. good choice on the turbo.. fill us in on the results.
As for me, due to $ issues.. just purchased a Big16g from FP few weeks ago... w/o a front mount it was good enough to get me 2nd place in the the 2g stock appearing class at the shootout... ran 13.6&98, and 13.7@99... my goals for the car are low 12's and 350whp
 
Does anyone know how big the inlet on the AGP is? Does the outlet line up like a 20g or do you need special IC piping? I am looking at getting a L2R in a month if the AEM EMS doesn't come out or in 2 months if they finally get it out.
