Just bought a turbo....WHAT IS IT?!?!?!

Bigger housing keeps temps down, thus extending the life of the turbo. Slightly better top end to the td06>td05 I believe too.

Greenmachine: I think that guy kind of has the right to be rude to you. You said "Sorry I only guessed that because of the welded elbow" That is absolutely retarded. If you don't have an idea, save your post for a topic you are more versed in. He didn't ask what it was to have a fun guessing game. Keep :shhh: when you don't know something. You will learn as well as the poster of the Q.

A bigger housing flows more. I think the Greddy 18G has like an 8.5 cm housing or something. Definitely larger than the "regular" Mitsu 18G.

*edit* Oops-- looks like VRMAN beat me to the punch. He would know-- he's got a TD06 18G.

I had to do it...it's alomst like you were asking for it. :p

measure the width of the compressor blade, u can get the inducer size pretty easy

18g has a 1.992 inducer on the compressor
20g has a 2.070 inducer on the compressor

that compressor looks about right for a 18g or 20g, the housing is definately a greddy style not standard td06 mitsu housing, and that little flat spot for a plaque is greddy style

all u gotta do is measure the compressor wheel and u can tell what it is
