Awesome choice Larry. If I don't get my 18g from TRE soon I'm probably going to get one when I get my money back.

Different is good.. Sometimes you find something better. There will ALWAYS be something bigger and better out there no matter what you are getting.
 
Good choice, couple people here in AZ have been using the L2R for a bit now and they're VERY happy. L1R works well for people who aren't quite so insane w/ HP greed.
 
Yeah. I rode in a couple cars, in my local DSM club, equiped with a Big28 and a S16G. And they both pulled hard, but the S16G pulled alittle harder. And I think once I go above 20psi, it will out perform the Big28. that's why I picked it. I was looking at the LR1 or LR2, but I think those are to much turbo for my curretn car. Maybe when I get another DSM I'll go with one of those.
 
IPT... they shipped mine the day I ordered it (or day after)... received it about 4 days later. Kevin told me that they were going to keep a few on the shelves at all times.. but who knows now that they are gaining popularity...

Congrats on the AGP Turbo.... ben and kevin know there sh!t.... and the tech support is second to none.
 
Delivery lead times are a really big deal to us. We hate them. We will be doing everything humanly possible to always have completed turbos on the shelf. And that includes any options you may order like polished compressor housing, or other last minute items. What a concept, order your AGP L2R in a polished or not, T04E or T04B housing with the w/g hole welded shut or ported out, and it ships within 24hrs.
Larry caught us temporarily out of L2R turbos but we will stocked up and shipping on Monday.

id honestly suggest if your looking at this turbo, to not even bother with the Green.. the equivalent from FP will be the FP30.. id look at that if you want a comparison but Ill def let everyone know hwo it works out for me

We talked for a second about the compressor options and I recommended you get the T04B because the E is a major PITA to fit in the 2g. Theoretically their is a small performance advantage to the E housing but in back to back tests it's not even noticeable. As of right now you're getting a polished T04B, but if you want we can swap it out for an E. We're still on schedule to ship it on Monday. We've already pre-sold all the parts we're getting in Monday, so the 'having parts on the shelf' thing is quickly becoming harder than I though. Good thing you ordered early.

u know ur #@%#@%#@%#@%. sounds like a bad ass turbo. i went with FP big 16g. my pocket book isnt that large. maybe i will go with one of agp turbo's when i build a full drag car. i have a spyder and it is a street car. i am the type of person that dosent buy anything till it is proven. FP is proven. not saying that agp is bad, but i would like to see some #'s. so keep me posted. maybe i will jump on the agp band wagon
 
well I was stuck on the whole proven thing myself.. but then it occurred to me that my FP Proven turbo was broke.. so chit happens.. Im not out to set any records or anything and if I can break an FP turbo then I can break anything... this turbo is bigger and should be better so we shall find out.. if not.. life goes on right :)
