A friend brought to my attention that ProSolo is also the same weekend

Sadly, they only have one of those events on this coast per year. I have to think about this one now. I hate when they make two big events on the same weekend.

Trust me a million things are on that date...the 1st annual triathlon of DC, the SCCA pro solo and hyperfest. I was like fawk.

BTW- ProSolo is cool but the fedex field lot sucks hardcore now, they repaved it and put on this sealant that is incredibly slick.

I would 100% choose hyperfest over a prosolo.

Might suggest tomorrow night tech as it gets crazy in the morning of hyperfest just getting in the gates. Ill be there around 6pm tomorrow, also getting some karting practice in for the enduro saturday.

HYPERFEST IS TODAY!!! I may drive my talon up but I may just ride with my brother to save gas. I'll be wearing a Delta Cam shirt I believe thats white so if you see me come on up and shoot the shit. I'm also like 6'3 if that makes a difference. I'M SO EXCITED for today

EDIT: Who won the drift competition? We left when the pontiac was going for its 3rd try against the Nissan. If anyone can give me updates about who won let me know. Thanks, but overall it was a lot of fun

Solstice screwed up, lost to the Turbo E46, which then broke, Turbo Mustang wins.

It was nice to meet Turbosax and Snowboarder, i think are who i met, albeit for 5 minutes, sorry I couldn't hang out for longer. Let us know if you'll be attending any regular NASA Weekends at Summit later in the year.

Good meeting you guys. Im recovering, got a total of 5 hours the entire weekend. I was unfortunately unavailable most of the day because we usually have a wireless microphone, but it wasnt working so I was stuck in the control tower, except when I ran over to do pace car duty.

Definitely let us know if you come out to any more NASA-MA events.

I wish we could have talked more as well, but hopefully next event. I'm not sure when I'll be back out there, but my guess is probably not until next season (or maybe later in the year when it's cooler out). My car was overheating like crazy and as of right now, I won't have time to do much on it until August or September.

I'll have a blog entry up at some point either today or tomorrow, which I'll post a link to in here.

Oh man! I wish I would have seen this earlier! We were out there with NASA RallySport - giving rides to people in our rally cars and doing a rally sprint. I've got tons of seat time, destroyed some tires, inhaled a few lbs of dust, and had a great time

I am by no means an official representative for NASA, but there were no talks amongst us working and Chris Cobetto, the boss man, of this being the last year. I know we were all even talking about improvements for next year, since its the 10th anniversary.

Absolutely not, there are even talks of expanding of which I can give no more details at this point.
