HX35 setup - ebay

Twin-scroll blows bolt-on housings out of the water.

How? Other than spool, they don't. My car has et'd and trapped just as good as peepers when he was a 5 speed, and I'm several hundred pounds heavier.

I do wish mine came up a little quicker for the street, but I'm not dealing with the hassles of it.

I have a similar build planned: 600whp, 7 bolt 2.4L, GT37R twin Scroll: that should be some quick boost. Always be careful on ebay with car parts, but that looks like a legit hx35 setup. Sounds great!

Yeah actually they do. Peeper's isn't exactly taking everything that's on the table.

A properly sized twin-scroll housing will destroy every other style of housing, either in spool (power under the curve), ultimate power, or both, hands down. Twin scroll T4 is ideal.

Well, I've run both, and there wasn't much difference. Sure on a big t4 turbo it's needed to get it up earllier, but I don't see anyone in HX35 land picking up much. My point was, it's a nice setup but a HX35 on a treadstone T3 manifold with an internal gate will be much cheaper, more durable, and make similar numbers.

Even Peeper's himself says that the twin-scroll setup is leaps and bounds better than his previous bolt-on setup.

You must have been not making enough power to notice or you manifold was made wrong.

There is no reason a tubular manifold can't be just as durable, and although it may make similar "numbers", the response and torque of the twin-scroll setup far outweighs any additional cost IMO.
