hx/hy35 downpipe flange gasket???

can some one please help me and clear this up, i have a hy35 on my 2g, i bought a weild on flange similer to the link below. Any way when i built the car i called the local dodge dealer since the turbos off 01 cummins and ask them for a gasket between the turbo and downpipe flange, they told me it seals metal on metal.....well mine clearly dosent it leaks right where they bolt together .

so my question is, dose a gasket go between the turbo and downpipe flange or is it supposed to seal metal on metal??? i cant find a gasket anywhere ! should i make one out of a exhaust gasket sheet???

Just go to thier site and in the search box on the left type in Hx35 and it will pull up the flange you bought as well as two gasket options.
