Hattiesburg,
I just got some white HVAC overlays from ebay and, of course they didn't come with instructions. For those of you that have them, do you have any instructions or advice on putting them in. For instance, do you have to take the knobs off?, do they just stick right on the surface or is there something you have to peel off first? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I got some for my 91. From what I know the knobs pull straight off. I am not sure about the 2g. The best way to think about these is like window tint. make sure the surface is very clean, so little bits of dirt do not show. When I was ready to put them on, I took a spray bottle and shot a very find mist over the contact surface. This allowed me to be able to move them around. When I got them where I wanted them< forced out what water I could then let them dry.:thumb:

2G knobs cant be pulled off because they are held on at the back with some kind of "c" clap thingy. But, you wont have a problem just minorly stretching the overlay around the knob. Also, make sure your HVAC is completely clean because any dust/dirt will show through, the overlays are very thin.

peel the paper backing off and then spray the overlay with a little soapy water. Slide it into position, push out any bubbles and let it dry......

No. it may seem that it wont fit but it will. I have indoglow hvac overlays and after giving up on trying to pull the knobs out, I found out they glide right through, just slide the overlays where the knobs extend further upward or downward first, not sure if its the top or bottom, then slide the overlays the opposite way, and you should have enough clearence to get them all the way through on your 95.
