So I have a 99 Eclipse GS and the HVAC control switch (temp control, fan speed, position) doesn't always light up. It will sometimes but then if I turn any of the knobs or go over a bump it'll go off. I believe it's a ground issue but can anyone tell me where it's grounded to?

Any help would be awesome!

I have a glow shift trans temp gauge I got it after I blew the trans in my 7g galant and then never put it in ### I ended up getting rid of it right after I got done rebuilding the trans

I'm not sure what that looks like. I was debating getting more gauges for my car but I decided just to get a program for my lap top that will read all of it

Well ill have a gsx sometime soon hopefully so ill have a turbo dsm anyway. What's the difference between that as like ECMLINK?

Gotcha. I was looking into ECM link a couple weeks ago and it was like 600ish

So just got to the junkyard and the only eclipse they had they crushed today. Would've been nice to know that yesterday when I called them before I drove all the way out here. So looks like I'm gonna be getting that switch from you

So I just noticed that after getting the yellow stuff back together and putting the LEDs strips in I decide to look at it and noticed the needles weren't lighting up.....

Just let me know when you want it and I'll give you my paypal info. Sucks that they crushed the Eclipse :(

What yellow stuff are you talking about? If you post some pictures, it'd help.

Got my wires soldered finally...

The yellow stuff that I had to take off the back of the gauge faces. The tint I guess you could call it. I don't have any pics of it :/ but the needles are barely lighting up n I didn't finish them so I don't have any pics

And one of my needles broke....do you know where I could get new ones???

Yeah the gauges light up blue but the needles bearly light up. There not together right now tho so I can't snap any pictures

Sweet. I forgot to tell you to scrape the orange paint off the back sides of the needles. They have to be painted white for the blue to show through better. The needle I send you will already be white on the back.

Lol my girlfriend said the same thing.....what kinda paint do I need to use and it's the gas gauge needle I figured I had to take the red off.thats actually how the needle snapped. Oh and by the way just a heads up. I just used 100% acetone nail polish remover and some cotton balls and it works like a charm. Just another way to remove the tint

Well, I never thought about that.. That'll make it easier to mod. I can still send you one of those needles, but it won't be white. Only got 2 of the large needles in white. I used model car paint, but you can even use nail polish for it. Or white out.

Yeah I figured acetone would do it and then figured I'd pass it on to you. And yeah I'll gladly take it as long as it dosent break in the mail on the way here LOL. I can always paint it

No problem and yeah. I work again tomorrow night so I can get u the money after that. How long is shipping supposed to take?

I know they do 2 day air, and next day delivery, but for such a small box, even normal shipping is a bit much. Plus my experiences with the priority shipping options, they don't always deliver as quick as paid for.

Yeah and it would probably take about a week for the bulbs to get here too so that should be fine. I like the way the gauges look though with the blue led strips in em. I wish I woulda snapped a pic while I had them together
