ive been in and out of threads and none have anything to do with my problem.
it started out when the turbo spools it didnt have pull like it should. but now it just give me loss of power before the turbo has chance to spool. Just cuts off i have to release the petal and re push it but cant give it much throttle without the cut, does this at 3000 rpms. i have a s.afc i know im burning mega rich, just bought a wideband im installing now. does burning rich cause power cuts? also i have what sounds like lifter tick but im not sure if its loud lifters or something else? how can i find out?

I was having a hard time reading your post. This goes to both posters as well.

To your problem, have you done a boost leak test? Were you running rich before you put the SAFC on/tuned?

no problem started when i undid the neg battery terminal to check to see if i had a eprom.. dont have the gear to do a boost leak test, doubt thats the prob. safc always has been on there. and yes it was burning rich had to buy a wideband and installing and tuning the safc tomor|

how can i check my mafs. where is that at?

Sounds like its leaking a crap ton of air as soon as it starts making boost. Many doubt that a huge air leak is the problem but often find that it is indeed the cause. If it doesn't have a huge boost leak, check spark plugs, make sure they are the right plug, and gapped around .028-.032, and check the MAF, I have seen all 3 of these cause the issues you describe.
