i was wondering if making 250-275 awhp on SMIC was possible with 14b? and like 550injectors?

i have seen 260 on stock turbo but that was 680cc on race gas

The upgrade paths say that it is. However just because you can hit that whp with a sidemount, it doesn't mean that you can do it consistently. I also wanted to keep my smic but now that it's getting warmer out it heatsoaks after 2 or 3 pulls, I don't want to see it when it hits 90* outside, so yes it's probably possible, but not recommended.

There was someone on here years ago that managed to pull low 12s with his SMIC and a 14b with some careful tuning. I think he may have been running a meth injector or some toluene-mixed fuel however.

haha i know it would heat soak if i pulled all the time, alright then.

heres another question and i would like to know if i can do this with little heat soak.

SMIC
550 injec.
3" TBE
255 fuel pump(already have installed)
MAF-T/SAFC
and running a steady about 18lbs, and that's good until my head gasket goes and then ill replace it and get head studs.

but i also have a 7bolt and i'm not trying to go all out on power.

Should be fine just watch for too much knock. Get a logger, and you need to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (afpr) because you'll be running rich with the 255 and the stock regulator.

As far as 18psi goes, if you have an manual tranny and a 14b then you'll be fine, shouldn't blow the headgasket, but like I said WATCH FOR KNOCK. If you have an automatic tranny and the stock 13g turbo then you don't want to run that much boost because the turbo will probably give out pretty quickly if you do.

I put down just under 260 on mine with a side mount so ya its possible
