We run ours on a switch with power fed directly from the alternator post. Maximum voltage this way.

What do you want it to do?

If your running a "race" setup then do like biglady and wire it to a switch with a 20 or 25A fuse from the alternator or battery.

If you're running more of a "street" car setup then there's no reason you can't follow the basic fuel pump rewire with a relay setup and let the ECU switch the pump via a 30A relay and a feed from the battery.
