Hi guys, I'm in need of some help on how to rotate the crankshaft by hand. I have removed the crankshaft bolt in the middle and the 4 little ones holding the pulley. I cant firgure out how to rotate it. The car is a 96 spder gst, auto.

What are you tryin to do? Rebuild the engine? install a timing belt?

I was also gonna change the seal. So should I just reinstall it and align it and then remove it? Does it matter if the car is in park?

Ok I just found out the car should be placed in neutral. Would this cause any damage to the engine if the crankshaft was moved while in the park position.

I've done belts and seals on DSM's with automatics and they've been in "PARK".

Socket is a 19mm (or, 3/4" US Standard) on the front sprocket bolt.

Motor is turning anyway when it's running and tranny in PARK before you take off.
