Like the title says, I'm wondering if there's an upgrade out there for the a/t stick so I can toss out that oversized dildo for something smaller and more aesthetic. I can't find any vendors that sell them but I figure there has to be somebody out there selling something. Of course it'd have to have an overdrive button that can be wired over as well. Has anyone done this or know of a place selling them?

Thanks. I did a search but my key words came up with nothing. That last link was gold though...that mod that guy did looks incredible.

I made my own. They're small and bolt on. When you remove your stock lever you wil be left with a shaft and threaded rod coming out of the center. You simply screw the button on until it bottoms out, slide the handle over the shaft and tighten the set screw to secure it. You will need to relocate the OD button somewhere else. PM me if you're interested.

I just took a manual shift boot and wrapped it over and then took a greddy manual shift knob that I got from a friend and slapped it ontop of that little plastic piece that sits on top of the shifter. the piece fits right in the bottom of the shift knob where the threads are. Only thing is that the while driving the botton is pushed down since the shif knob is on it not allowing it to lock. So just don't hit your shifter.

That can't be safe, I would consider the possibilies of that thing popping into revearse or park and figure out what the side effects will be. I know there are safety features that protect the transmission, but I still dont think sliding into park at freeway speeds is going to be good for some things...........

A friend of mine had his GF kick his car into reverse at highway speed. It freakin hammered it big time. Unless you have a crap load of money or enjoy pulling trannys for some reason, don't do it. It does look nice, but looks are nothing if your car has the trans grenaded.

She kicked it? OMG

i guess if you can't be careful enough to not hit your shifter while driving, you shouldn't be moding ur car in the first place. Flying on the freeway isn't exactly safe . Accidents happen, but you should be playing around in your car either...

Keep LEGS away from shifter at all times... :p
