How to light your tails with led's

I seen a video on youtube, where a 2g gst had a full led tail light..Left ,right, and center..I wanted to know if there has been a thread on this..I looked through the tech section and couldn't find led tails..

I know that a few people have done it, but Can't remember who it was..

So if anyone has the link, or know who did it please let me know..

Edit...maybe not azdave..he's got a green turbocharged rs . but his tailights are completely custom led made by him

There was a lot of time put into those and very meticulous work.

I was thinking the full led tail..Like asdave has, but withought the stobing..It looks sick as hell..

That link dint say anything about lighting tails with led's..All it was about was retrofitting cars for HID's..

I posted the link so you could look around on the site. Here's a link to an led conversion done on a Corolla. Should be a similar process for any led taillight conversion

Research is your friend on retrofits like this. Circuit diagrams, board sizing, resistor and LED quantities, its alot more complex then it seems.

It is very complicated, I'm working on designing my own LED tail lights. Right now I'm designing the PCB boards themselves which will have the LEDs soldiered on.
