How to make 1g tails look better

Any thought on how to make 1g talon tails look better? I don't want to smoke them. I like clears, but can't find any. I thought about taking the red off somehow, painting the inside housing, getting some colored bulbs. Any other Ideas?

look around for some clears
they are out there
i happen to get mine for free hahah i was syched
try junkyards (sometimes you will find a junked dsm with them), craigslist, i hate to say it but ebay, or a swapmeet

Colored bulbs in tails is a sure-fire way to get pulled, especially in the Communist Republic of VA. I wouldn't do ANYTHING to the headlights or tails if I lived there, personally.
