So a friend of mines brought down an evoscan so i can log my dsm. We got the OBDII hooked up fine. Just that theres this other white piece I can seem to find anywhere. What im looking for is a female part. The evoscan cable end is a male part. Heres a picture

Anyone know where it is? This is for a 97 with stock ecu

Are you asking where the plug is on the car? If that is in fact your question than if you look directly behind where your OBDII plug is, on the car, you'll find it. Even though it's directly behind it, it is kind of more "upwards". Meaning its a little more of a reach than the OBDII port on the car. I wish I had a picture of it.

Dude I tired looking for it in the same cars. Theres a braket for it but theres nothing. And guess what, I found the datalink cable port in an rs -_-. WTH! You know how you can follow the wires from the back from the datalink connector. Going from the datalink to the ecu wires. I cant even find that on any of the cars that I was looking at.
 
Well the little white plug can be plugged in. I believe it grounds out a certain pin. I can't really remember right now. It doesn't hurt anything to plug it in. I sometimes I plug it in, sometimes I don't. :)
