Here are some suggestions on how to get help as quickly as possible on these forums.
1. Make sure your profile is up to date or fill out a profile if you haven't.
2. Please try and be clear and concise. Use objective data if available. Vague statements are not easily understood. Give us the ENTIRE story, history, notes, data, observations, tests, recent changes, timeframe and whatever voodoo spell has been cast. This give the reader a place to start.
What did you do? Test? observe? etc.
Please provide pertinent information without any preconceptions or guesstimate. Tell us what you know not what you THINK you know. Yes, tell us what you suspect but don't say you KNOW unless you observed, measured etc.
3. Get familiar with the resources on this page. https://www.dsmtuners.com/pages/resources/
The resources are right on the main page.
4. Search the archives. Even if only briefly there are many many already answered questions particularly with common topics.
5. Don't get pissy or impatient with people or the car. Problem solving takes time.
6. Once resolved post the solution in your thread. This helps future readers.

I'm posting this because I personally have seen too many threads that do not provide enough information for anybody to help the poster. I like to help but if information isn't provided it's like taking your car to a mechanic, dropping it off with a note that says "car is broke".

Agree. I would like to add a phrase "without any preconceptions" in #2. Because often original poster's guesstimation creates confusion and the situation goes more complicated.
Agreed. I made an edit. Check it out
